Amaco Dipping and Layering DL23 Ultramarine

The Dipping and Layering glazes areeasy-to-usemid-range dry dipping glazes that were designed to be dipped and layered with ease. These glaze colors are inspired by popular layering colors from the Potter’s Choice glaze series.

Quick mixing! Pre-measured, dry dipping materials. Simply add one gallon of distilled water per 1 bag of dry materials!

Each glaze bag produces roughly 1.25 gallons or at least 10 pints worth of glaze!These glazes are perfect for the studio or classroom! Easy application and faster than brushing with consistent and reliable results!

Cone 5 = 1184 C (at 150C/hour for the final 100C of firing) / 2201F ( at 270F/hour in the final 200F of firing)

Cone 6 = 1241C (at 150C/hour for the final 100C of firing) / 2266F ( at 270F/hour in the final 200F of firing)

Description

DL-23 Ultramarine is a glossy cobalt blue glaze with a lighter float. Moves when fired and breaks gray where thin. Beautiful for layering or alone.
