Drawing doesn’t begin with talentit begins with learning to look. This introductory, hands-on workshop is designed for absolute beginners and anyone who wants to strengthen the basics.

We’ll work through simple exercises in line, shape, value, texture, and form while exploring some of the most common drawing materials artists use. You’ll have an opportunity to experiment with graphite pencils, charcoal, cont, erasers, different papers, and other drawing tools while learning what each can do.

Along the way, you’ll practice basic techniques for shading, creating dimension, and turning simple shapes into recognizable forms.

This isn’t about creating a masterpiece in two hours. It’s about getting comfortable with drawing, understanding your tools, and giving you a foundation you can continue building on.

No previous drawing experience required. Just come ready to draw.
