An Attu basket with lid is a traditional woven lidded basket made by the Attu people, part of the Aleut (Unangax) Indigenous group from Attu Island in the western Aleutian Islands of Alaska.

These baskets are renowned for their exceptional delicacy and fine craftsmanship. They are typically crafted using wild rye grass (or beach grass), split and woven in a tight closed twined technique, often with natural and dyed elements for intricate patterns. This results in some of the finest and most tightly woven baskets known in Native American basketry, sometimes featuring 2030 stitches per inch.
