The Dragon sauce boat turns a useful serving piece into a small work of sculpture. A sinuous creature animates the handle and gives the vessel a spirited, almost mythic presence, while the deep bowl pours sauces and dressings with theatrical grace.

Handmade in Paris from black terracotta, each piece is stamped with the Astier de Villatte monogram and the initials of the artisan who crafted it. Subtle variations in form, surface and glaze are integral to its character.
