Paleo Knife typically is a type of ancient stone tool from the Paleoindian period (roughly 13,0008,000 years ago in North America), during the late Pleistocene/early Holocene era when the first humans widely inhabited the continent.

These were large, skillfully crafted lithic (stone) blades or knives, often made through flint knapping (percussion and pressure flaking) from high-quality materials like chert, flint, obsidian, or rhyolite. They served as multi-purpose cutting tools for butchering game (e.g., mammoths, bison), processing hides, cutting plants, or other taskssometimes hafted to handles, sometimes handheld.
