Lithographic print of a gyrfalcon, plate no. 13 from The Great Bird Book by Swedish naturalist Olof Rudbeck the Younger (16601740).

A later high-quality limited edition, printed in Italy, faithfully reproducing Rudbecks detailed ornithological studies. The original works are held in the collections of Uppsala University.

Presented in an antique silver-gilded wooden frame with a soft, aged patina that complements the restrained tones of the print.
