C. Hamana & G. Humetewa are Hopi artists/collaborators who created a particular piece of pottery, a joint work signed item from a collection or gallery.

Hopi Pueblo pottery is one of the most celebrated forms of Native American ceramics, renowned for its elegant forms, warm buff-to-orange tones, and intricate designs inspired by ancient traditions. It is handmade using the coil-and-scrape technique, painted with natural mineral and vegetal pigments (often black and red) using yucca brushes, and traditionally fired outdoors in pit fires covered with sheep dung for the distinctive colors and finish.
