The branching form of Agaric Fourchu gives this small plate a lively, almost animated silhouette. John Derians archival mushroom study becomes a singular decorative object in glazed terracotta.

Created as John Derian for Astier de Villatte, each piece is handmade in Paris from black terracotta and finished with the maisons luminous white glaze. Slight variations in form, surface and image placement are integral to its character.
