The Navajo Chinle Revival blanket (often called a Chinle Revival rug or weaving) is a style of traditional Navajo textile that emerged in the 20th century as part of a broader “vegetal revival” movement. It pays homage to earlier Navajo weaving traditions from the Classic and Transitional periods (roughly 1800s), particularly the banded, borderless designs with simple geometric motifs.
