Hand Crafted from Copper with Stamped Fine Details

In Very Good Condition

A Navajo copper frog pin is a vintage brooch styled as a frog, often associated with Native American jewelry from the Southwest, particularly pieces produced by companies like Bell Trading Post in the mid-20th century.

These are typically made from copper (sometimes with a brass-like appearance) and feature a stamped or cast frog design, evoking a “fetish” style. Bell Trading Post, active from the 1930s to the 1970s, made many such affordable souvenir-style items inspired by Navajo and other Native designs, though not always handmade by Navajo artisans.

Provenance: From the Len and Toni Wood Private Collection, Laguna Beach, California
