A single cotton placemat that turns one place setting into a concentrated field of Lisa Corti colour and pattern. Mix it with plain linen or neighboring prints for a personal, abundant table.

The Nizam motif began with Lisa Cortis reinterpretation of a rose found in a French Aubusson carpet. In Cream Pink, generous pink, coral and fuchsia blooms and deep green foliage unfold across a soft cream ground, framed by delicate, Oriental-inspired borders and a confident striped edge.

One of the maisons most intricate patterns, Nizam requires eleven separate printing blocks for the rose alone. The meeting of romantic florals and crisp geometry gives the design its distinctive balance and enduring character.

Designed in Italy and hand block-printed by artisans in India. The subtle variations of this process make every piece unique.

Sold individually. Measures 35 48 cm. 100% cotton. Machine wash at 30C; do not soak.
