A substantial cotton runner that works as a table centrepiece, across two place settings, or layered over a contrasting cloth for a more abundant table.

The Nizam motif began with Lisa Cortis reinterpretation of a rose found in a French Aubusson carpet. In Cream Pink, generous pink, coral and fuchsia blooms and deep green foliage unfold across a soft cream ground, framed by delicate, Oriental-inspired borders and a confident striped edge.

One of the maisons most intricate patterns, Nizam requires eleven separate printing blocks for the rose alone. The meeting of romantic florals and crisp geometry gives the design its distinctive balance and enduring character.

Designed in Italy and hand block-printed by artisans in India. The subtle variations of this process make every piece unique.

Measures 50 150 cm. 100% cotton. Machine wash at 30C; do not soak.
