Minor chip on lower lip of bear figure as picture. Painted out. Can be restored but looks fine as is. Otherwise in Excellent Condition.
A classic example of the Thunderbird Totems of Alert Bay.
John T. Williams was born in February 27, 1960. He was a member of the Nuu-chah-nulth tribe First Nations, and during his childhood, lived in Seattle, and Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia.[4]According to Williams’ family, he was a seventh-generation woodcarver. Williams was an extremely talented artist. Williams had hearing difficulties, and had battled problems with alcohol much of his adult life. He was a well known carver and very well liked Master artist.
