Rochefort brings together light blue, bronze, dark green in a many-layered palette in which cool mineral tones meet warmer flashes of color. As the clays are folded and pressed by hand, the colors travel through each form in singular, unpredictable bands.

Handmade in Paris using the historic terre mle technique, the colors are blended through the body of the clay rather than applied as decoration. The result is aptware with painterly depth, a smooth unglazed surface, and no exact repetition.
