Geraldine Gutierrez (sometimes spelled Geraldine Gutirrez) is a Native American artist associated with San Ildefonso Pueblo pottery traditions. Born in 1960 at San Ildefonso Pueblo in New Mexico, she is the daughter of Helen Atencio (from San Ildefonso) and Frankie V. Gutierrez (from Santa Clara Pueblo). Although born and technically affiliated with San Ildefonso through her mother, she later moved to her father’s pueblo, Santa Clara, where she has resided and created much of her work, including both blackware pottery and paintings.

She is known for producing traditional San Ildefonso-style pottery, often featuring classic designs like the avanyu (water serpent), feathers, geometric patterns, and polychrome (multi-color) or redware techniques. Her pieces are typically hand-coiled, stone-polished, and painted with natural pigments, reflecting the renowned black-on-black or redware styles pioneered by San Ildefonso artists like Maria Martinez.
