Dominguita Sisneros Naranjo (often spelled Dominguita or similar variations like Domenguete in queries) is a respected potter from Ohkay Owingeh (San Juan Pueblo), New Mexico, born in 1942. She belongs to a prominent pottery family and is known for traditional San Juan/Ohkay Owingeh-style pottery, particularly Potsuwi’i incised and carved wares inspired by ancient Pueblo techniques. Her work features polished red or polychrome surfaces, deeply carved or incised geometric designs (e.g., clouds, kiva steps, rain patterns, lightning), sgraffito, and sometimes micaceous slips for sparkle.
