A monumental sepia rose selected from John Derians archive envelops this generously scaled vase, giving it the atmosphere of an enlarged antique print. Subtle tonal colour and handmade texture make the piece romantic, dramatic and unusually easy to live with.

Created by John Derian for Astier de Villatte, each piece is handmade in Paris from black terracotta and stamped with the Astier de Villatte monogram and the initials of the artisan who crafted it. Subtle variations in form, surface and glaze are integral to its character.
