Albert and Dolly Banteah (also spelled Bantea in some references) were renowned Zuni Pueblo silversmiths from New Mexico, active from the mid-20th century through the early 2000s. They specialized in intricate inlay jewelry, a traditional Zuni technique where polished stones are precisely cut and fitted into silver channels or flush-mounted to create mosaic-like designs inspired by nature, animals, and Pueblo symbolism. Their work is highly collectible, often featuring materials like turquoise, red coral, jet (black lignite), mother-of-pearl shell, and pen shell. The couple won numerous awards at major Native American art shows and is considered among the finest Zuni artists.
